The Impulse Group is pleased to be attending this year’s Ansys Simulation World Conference at the MTC in Coventry on Wednesday 13th May 2026, where engineering leaders, innovators and technical specialists from across industry will come together to explore the future of simulation, digital engineering and system design.

Representing The Impulse Group at the event will be Engineering Manager, Paul Dawson, whose experience spans complex structural and mechanical engineering across offshore energy, marine and infrastructure projects.

As engineering challenges across offshore energy and wider infrastructure continue to grow in complexity, events such as Simulation World provide an important opportunity for our experts to explore how advanced analysis, simulation and AI-driven technologies are helping organisations improve performance, reduce uncertainty and accelerate project delivery.

With this year’s event focusing on integrated solutions across structures, fluids, electro-mechanical systems and AI-enhanced engineering workflows, the conference strongly aligns with the direction of travel across the energy sector — where smarter, data-led engineering is becoming increasingly critical.

Through our Enginuity division, we continue to apply advanced engineering analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), structural calculations, 3D modelling and simulation-led design approaches to support safer, more efficient and more confident engineering decisions for our clients.

Beyond the technology itself, one of the key themes we are looking forward to exploring is how simulation and engineering insight can better support real-world delivery — helping teams identify issues earlier, reduce unnecessary risk and improve lifecycle performance across critical assets and systems.

We look forward to connecting with peers, sharing knowledge and bringing back valuable insight that supports both our clients and the wider energy sector. If you’re attending and would like to connect, Paul is open to 1:1 meetings throughout the day and into the evening to discuss offshore engineering challenges, simulation and innovation in the sector. He will also be available via the conference app, feel free to reach out and arrange a time to meet.

Here's to a great event!
