The Impulse Group's latest milestone was exhibiting for the very first time – at Subsea Expo 2024.
In the weeks leading up to Subsea Expo, our team spent many long days in our manufacturing unit creating a bright inviting stand to welcome visitors.
Not only was this a great opportunity for our team to get hands on with the show prep, we also found this was a fantastic team building exercise as our subsea team was made up of members from across different departments within the company, who usually don’t get to work so closely.
The build
Subsea Expo is an annual event that is spanned over three days during February and welcomes industry leaders from around the world to showcase their latest products and innovations.

The perfect place for our first event
During the 3-day event we welcomed many visitors to the stand where we had the opportunity to demonstrate our test kits through interactive prize-winning games.
Our highly knowledgeable team where always available to speak with existing and prospective clients.
Our team got dressed up to attend the Subsea Expo awards dinner along with some industry friends and colleagues celebrating the accomplishments from the subsea sector over the last 12 months.
GUH interview
Our MD, Chris Spraggon, took part in an on-stand interview with Ian McLaren from event organisers Global Underwater Hub (GUH), to discuss our products, services, and cost effective solutions for flexible pipeline integrity.
On Thursday our Engineering Director Gilles Gardner took to the podium in the integrity and inspection conference to discuss inspection and cleaning of flexible riser annulus vent ports.
The presentation discussed the development, testing, and deployment offshore of an inspection and cleaning system for unbonded flexible riser annulus vent ports.
Aligned to our philosophy of a dog friendly office we also extended this to our stand, as pictured.
After a full week of set up, networking and showcasing, Our team packed up the new IMPULSE VAN and made their way back to HQ.
